A sports enthusiast, Madhu Bahl has made an exemplary mark by promoting roller skating, putting it on the CBSE Calendar and popularizing it on the National and International levels. She is currently the vice President RSFI and Chairperson RHTC, India. She has led Indian Roller Hockey Teams both, for Boys and Girls on foriegn turfs as CHIEF-DE- MISSION. 
School hosted the first ever CBSE National Skating Championship in its Roller Hockey Skating Rink of International dimensions. It has also hosted 4th, 7th and 8th CBSE National Skating Championships under the mentorship of Principal Madhu Bahl. 
The Skaters from all over the country getting coaching in the Skating Rinks of KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 7-B, Chandigarh are participating in Asian and World Championships every year and till now Indian Teams of Roller Hockey, Speed and Artistic Skating have participated in Taiwan, Portugal, China, Japan, Germany, South Korea, Italy, Columbia, South America, England and several other countries under the guidance of Principal Madhu Bahl and have brought laurels to the country.
